ACK!

My computer's hating me!!! It won't turn on!! And I hate American Idol...not cuz I was rooting for either of the David's. My church activities are always on Wendsday, and we were making an aporns, and the hostess turned on the T.V. to watch American Idol. That was fine, since we always worked during the commercials, but everytime American Idol came back on, it was Drop Everything and Watch! URG!! Who cares about American Idol!? Plus there were only 2 sewing machines and irons for the WHOLE group!! What should of token 1 hour, actually took 3 hours!! And I still had homework! URG!

Stonehenge

So we've all heard of Stonehenge in Britain.
Well today I was bored and National Geographic was open to their new article about Stonehenge, quenching my natural thirst for ancient stuff like it, I started reading it.
Anyways scientist have now found early human migration (or something like that, they worded it a lot cooler) evidence around the area of Stonehenge. They've found about nine human sketal remains, one was from the Alps area of today, and the other the German/Swedish area, and for those of you that know this, but have never really thought about it...Stonehenge is in Britain and those sketal remains are 4,000 plus years old.
The article then went on to say they don't know, yet, what Stonehenge was built for, but some of the theories of why Stonehenge is there are...
1) Burial ground, they've found 250 plus remains and cremation evidence has been found along the banks of the nearby river, which at some time, flowed through Stonehenge.
2) Some big male god worship place
3) And one of the most interesting ones is... a healing ground/area whatever you wanna call it. Since most of the burial remains were there with a twisted leg, or torso injury, etc.
And sorry everyone, that my grammar is horrible in here (for those of you that care) but I'm wiped out. Just finished EOL's today, and 7 days till schools out!

Rollercoasters

So we've all been to an amusement park of some kind of another, well yesterday my family and I went to the local amusement park, and it was packed! We only got on a few rides before the heat became to unbearable. One of the rides we got on was the Fire Dragon. Well not me exactly, since I was getting a drink, but my family got on it. We all knew that earlier in the day it had been shut down for a short while, but now it was working again. Turns out my family was on the last ride of the day.
While they were getting on the ride, and after I had gotten my drink, I was waiting by the exit. And waiting, and waiting, finally they annouced that the ride was going to be closed, so people starting filing out through the entrance. But still my family didn't show up...as it turns out they had gotten stuck on the last ride of the day. So pretty hiliarous, since they then had climb off the ride and all that fun stuff, while I sat there laughing.

Creepy Old Man

Like I've said before, I'm a bookworm, and so I spend lots of hours at libraries and bookstores. My favorite bookstore being Barnes and Noble, I'll go there and read books that the library are slow to get. Today I was doing that again, and I was sitting in my usual spot so my mom could come and pick me up quickly. Of course they are other costumers there who are reading too. So it wasn't all that unusual when an old man (wasn't creepy, yet) came and dragged the chair beside me, away. Except for the fact that he dragged it in front of me, EXACTLY in front of me. I noticed it and thought it was odd, but it wasn't until later that I looked up and saw him staring at me. Starting to get creepy now, but I ignored it and pushed my book up further to block his face. The book was good, but the old geezer was starting to get creepy and annoying. So I got and wandered to another corner to the store, except all the other chairs were token, and when I got back to my orginal spot the old geezer was gone, so I sat down again. About fifteen minutes later the old guy came back, and went back to staring at me. Also I should mention that he smelt like coffee, which he was also drinking, and for all of those who don't know, I HATE COFFEE! A little while later it finally got annoying enough that I went and got a stool(since the chairs we still all being used), and sat down in the middle of an aisle. The creepy old stalker guy, then came and asked me about a bookstore a few cities away. Like I would know anything about stores in other cities that I hardly ever visit! I politely told him I had know idea, went back to my book and tried to think of a way to get him away from me, since he really stunk of coffee, and was REALLY creeping me out! Eventually he wandered away, and I finished my book, but still a creepy, afternoon ruiner, if Ms. Sides hadn't already messed it up. So a horrible day in all, and a creepy experince that I don't wish to experince again.

OMG!

I HAD TO GIVE A TALK DURING SACREMENT!!! Holy Crap, I was freaking out all morning, got like 4 hours of sleep last night. And had a majorily weird dream, that didn't help. And to top it off it's Mother's Day, and I just couldn't be happy for my mom since I was about to lose it. But now I'm okay, and get to enjoy a BBQ up at the park with my extended family, yes!

Orchestra

I love orchestra...yesterday in orchestra we had so much fun! If you stick 40 kids + 40 instruments, you have a large sometimes annoying orhestraing sound. Now stick an hour long lunch, the last period of the day, plus the very fact that it's Friday, plus the orginal equation, and you get very organized chaos! Which is exactly what happened on Friday in orchestra. It all started out as a mutual idea that we should play as loud and out of tune as possible. Then we started switching instruments between us as the teacher's back was tuned. Finally the teacher seemed to get the class under control. And you all have to know that Ms. P. the orchestra teacher is freaking awesome, then started us on our favorite song, St. Paul's Suite. In St. Paul's there are lots of solos, and Ms. P. often says to us to 'sing' the song, usually she means to play more...whatever the piece calls for. Yesterday we took it literally and we all started singing the movements. Well expect Ashlee and I who sat there laughing our heads off! Laughter truly is the best medicine!

Two city girls on a mountain road

Last night my mutual group went up by the 'B' to do some shooting, it was a first time shooting for most of us girls, and the road up there is a horrible bumpy, yet a very fun road. To top this all off, next to the road is cliffs, and then there's one bend with atleast six visible wrecks down below, called Deadman's Curve. On the way down, I came down in a different car, with two girls who were afraid of heights. I very kindly pointed out that we were coming up to Deadman's Curve, and I've never seen anyone freak out so much. I mean the only people that go off there, are the stupid people who speed down the mountain. And to add to the excitemnet even more they just HAD to rename the curve. So instead of Deadman's Curve it was Rainbow Bend, and the 'Path of Death' that one of the cars took down was renamed the Pony Express.
But I've seriously have never seen anyone freak out that much over a simple name...it was really...different.

Lunch Table Gossip

Lame Joke of the month:
What do May Flowers bring? -Pilgrims
Yeah I know stupid, but I bet it got a chuckle outta ya.

Kay, a few days ago at my lunch table, we were all talking about jobs we've had, and one of the girls started talking about the job she's getting this summer. Just so you all know she meant to say that she's working with her cousin who's making baby dolls. What she instead said was, she's working with her cousin who makes babies. Funniest thing of all is she had no idea why were all laughing. She eventually started going back through the conversation, you could basically see the wheels turing in her head. She finally figured out what she said, about the making babies part, and her face went BRIGHT red, all the way down to her eblows. One of the other girls tried rubbing it in, and she slapped the joker, which got us all laughing harder, since she's usually a pacifist.

...yeah just random boring stuff. Oh! Found out my cousin got mono, not sure how, but hopefully it's not from kissing people!

First Aid in the Home

Okay aren't boy scouts suppose to know first aid? If yes, then why did I know what to do when my little brother got stung by a bee? While he was rolling around on the ground, I knew enough (from Girl's Camp) to get mud for his foot (where he got stung). So for all of you that don't know what to do with bee stings you need...to elevate the stung area, and then stick mud, or some other soft and cold substance on it.

Finally! IT'S MAY!

You wouldn't believe what I saw when I woke up this morning!! SNOW! First day of May and there's snow on my back porch, who would believe that! And right now it's snowing, even more. My poor sister, when she woke up and saw the snow she almost died...she hates snow, cold, anything cold but ice cream and slushies, with a huge passion. But I thought I should share my excitement on here!! 29 MORE DAYS OF SCHOOL LEFT! YEAH!!!
